Persberg is a village steeped in history — wherever you go in the area, you encounter remnants of mines, smelters, railways, and canals. On this website you can explore the historical material I have collected over the years. It started with Yngshytteälven and Persbergs canal, with its remains of water wheels and rod systems leading to the various mines that captured my interest. But the project has grown over the years and now covers everything related to the area's history.
