Mining on Kutholmen
On Kutholmen there was a small exploratory working from earlier times. Mining was resumed in 1863 and operated as a shaft.
Despite the efforts, the ore supply did not meet expectations. The extracted ore was lean and mixed with skarn, making the work unprofitable.
Mining was halted at the end of 1864, at a depth of one setting.
