The house foundation is located on the western part of the island, in the forest grove on the right in the photo.
The house was probably built at the same time as the new constructions on Getön in the early 1900s.
The house was moved to Fagerbergsvägen, Filipstad in 1926.
At the time of purchase, the current owner was told that the house came from Getön and that it was the only one on the island with a basement.
On Getön only a small basement has been observed, but this foundation matches well with the measurements of the house on Fagerbergsvägen.
According to Wanja Eriksson, Persberg, citing her father-in-law Victor Eriksson:
The building contained some type of serving or café.
The workforce on Getön was large, so the house may have provided both meals and lodging.
