The waterwheel at Lindbergshage Falls supplied mechanical pumping power not only to the Lindbergshage Mine but also to the Nord Mine. In 1863, the power was transmitted to the Nord Mine through a rod system approximately 940 metres long.
The Moss Mine also received its pumping power from this waterwheel through a 400 metre long rod system. The Moss Mine is located east of Gubbdammen.
The waterwheel was supplied with water from Gubbdammen through a canal about 200 metres long.
The re-regulation of the Persberg Canal in the 1860s meant that the route of the western branch was changed. As a result, the Hall, Horrsjö and the old Lindbergshage waterwheels were taken out of operation.
By building a new Lindbergshage waterwheel further to the west, the available head of water increased from 24 to 32 feet. The power output thereby increased from 4.42 to 7.68 horsepower.
