Studies of old maps of the waterway at Horrsjö Wheel suggest that the wheel was positioned within an old mine opening southeast of Hammarrepet.

Function

The wheel supplied the Nordgruve Field with mechanical power.

With some difficulty, it is still possible to trace the rod system in the direction of Nordgruvan Mine.
